At UrbanVolt, we deliver our clients immediate and measurable energy savings that reduce both costs and carbon. We created our ‘as a service’ models so that we could have a measurable impact on the environment.
That was when we started to explore becoming a B Corporation – B Corp for short. B Corps are for-profit businesses that are certified for trying to solve a social or environmental issue through their enterprise. We strive to be best-in-class, and to translate that leadership into positive impact for the world.
Becoming a B Corp reinforces our standing as a trusted, accountable leader in sustainable energy. It validates our environmental performance and transparent practices, giving partners confidence that our commitment to positive impact is embedded throughout our business.
Since our first certification in 2018, we’ve continued to focus on strengthening how we operate, how we measure impact, and how we create long-term value for the businesses and communities we work with. In our 2025 recertification, that commitment is reflected in a score of 99.6.
While we’re proud of the progress we’ve made, we see this as just the beginning. B Corp certification gives us a clear framework for continuous improvement, and we’ll keep building on it as we scale clean energy solutions that deliver lasting environmental, social, and economical impact.
