Kyte Powertech is a company specialising in manufacturing distribution transformers for the local, Irish and UK market from its Cavan site since 1977. The Kyte team are passionate about energy and sustainability, beginning their sustainability journey in 2009. The company looked at energy efficiency with UrbanVolt in 2017 and replaced all the light in the buildings using the Light as a Service model. The partnership with UrbanVolt continuted with installation of a 950kW system on the roof of their site in Cavan.

We weren’t in the position to upfront the cost of such a large scale project and when UrbanVolt approached us, their model made a lot of sense. We liked what we saw!
