The Opportunity
Pipelife has been producing quality goods for the plumbing, construction and agricultural sectors for over 45 years.
Their plant in Cork, Ireland is operational 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, and was generating hefty electricity bills due to their existing lighting system. Pipelife needed a solution that would guarantee cash savings, and which could be implemented without disruption to their busy production schedule.
They chose UrbanVolt for our experience with industrial and warehouse retrofits, and because there was no upfront cost to install the new lighting.
The Solution
UrbanVolt carried out the site assessment, the installation, and the project management, retrofitting the entire premises with investment grade LED light fittings.
In addition to reducing Pipelife’s lighting bill by 75%, the improvement in lighting quality also made for a brighter and more productive workplace.
Pipelife are adding to their bottom line, as well as significantly reducing their carbon footprint.
